3 Killed In Shooting, Including A CSU Student
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Three people are dead in Fort Collins after an overnight shooting that involved four people. One of those killed was a female Colorado State University student.
It happened at an apartment building at 720 City Park Avenue early Thursday morning. That's in the City Park Heights neighborhood.
The gunfire at approximately 2 a.m. woke up apartment resident Darren Rutz.
"It turned out to be probably 10 gunshots, give or take," Rutz said.
Some of the four people involved in the shooting may also be injured.
"There's a lot to do," Johnson said. "We are going to be working in the parking lot for much of the day."
Johnson could not comment on whether officers had a suspect. Johnson did say, "We have no ongoing threat to the community."
He would not comment on a motive.
