ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – Fire investigators in Arvada are trying to figure out what triggered a fire that damaged an apartment building overnight.
The blaze broke out early Thursday morning at Grace Place Condos, located near the intersection of Oak Street and West 63rd Avenue. That’s a few blocks away from Ralston Road.
The fire started on a third story balcony and quickly spread to other units.
“There’s even ashes on my balcony. I am beyond thankful for my life right now because that police officer had to run downstairs because that’s how hot it was,” said Amariah Brown.
Firefighters were able to put out the blaze quickly.
No one was hurt.
