43-Year-Old Man Drowns While Tubing
DECKERS, Colo. (CBS4) - A Castle Rock man drowned while tubing in the South Platte River in Jefferson County on Saturday.
Investigators say the 43-year-old was with his fiancee and friends near Deckers and the Platte River Campground.
A camper saw the man float into some bushes face down and without his tube. A group of witnesses tried CPR before the man was airlifted to the hospital. He later died.
Authorities haven't identified him.
