Structures Threatened In Debris Fire

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters have a debris fire north of Denver contained.

South Adams County Fire Department posted to Facebook, saying it happen in the 6100 block of Brighton Road.

That address is for a Waste Management transfer station in Commerce City.

The fire started around noon on Monday.

Structures were threatened, but the fire has since been contained.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Waste Management reminds customers not to put hot combustibles - like hot coals, ash, or fireworks - in the trash.
