GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – Warm temperatures have snow pack turning to snow melt.

As a result, Colorado’s streams and rivers are rising fast.

Snow melt is pouring into Clear Creek in Jefferson County.

That’s why tubing and swimming in the creek are now banned.

The sheriff’s office is warning people the creek is running too fast to enjoy safely.
