Patrick Stewart Swigs Champagne From F1 Driver's Shoe

MONTREAL, Canada (CBS4) - Sir Patrick Stewart visited the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, and had some celebratory champagne.

Out of a shoe.

Whenever F1 racer Daniel Ricciardo makes it onto the podium, he has a tradition of drinking champagne out of his sneaker.

This is called a "Shoey."

This time Ricciardo jokingly offered Stewart a drink, and the acclaimed actor accepted.

"I don't care. I made the podium for the first time so I will drink out of anybody's shoes," Stewart joked.
