Biyak Gets Stuck In River, Triggering Water Rescue
ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A man had to be rescued on Saturday in an accident involving watercraft on the Roaring Fork River.
The rescue took place on a stretch of river in Pitkin County. Sheriff's deputies say two men were in a biyak, which is two kayaks that are connected.
The biyak became submerged in the water after getting stuck on a rock. One of the men was able to escape, but crews had to rescue the second.
