ICE Agents Shoot, Injure Suspect
DENVER (CBS4) - Immigration Customs Enforcement agents were involved in a shooting Friday morning.
Denver Police Chief Robert White said that it occurred while the agents were attempting to make a traffic stop Friday morning in the area of South Inca Street and West Louisiana Avenue in Denver, which is just west of the South Platte River.
During the stop, an altercation occurred in which shots were fired after a foot pursuit.
The suspect was struck, grazed by a bullet on his forehead, sustaining non-life threatening injuries.
"The particulars of why they stopped this individual are unknown and part of the investigation," White said.
The suspect's condition is also unknown at this time.
