DENVER (CBS4) – The teenager believed to have shot and killed a man while he was trying to break up a fight has been charged with murder.

The victim was Clarence Thomas, 33. He was shot in February near 15th and Market whild trying to break up a fight.

Devante Crawford, 18, is facing charges of murder and intimidating a witness.

Crawford is set to appear before a judge on Tuesday on what would have been the victim’s 34th birthday.
