Tubing Banned On St. Vrain River This Holiday Weekend

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Those planning on tubing this holiday weekend can cross the St. Vrain River off their list.

The Boulder County sheriff put a tubing ban in effect Saturday morning.

Kayaks and white water canoes are still allowed in the river, but the sheriff is warning people to be careful and wear a life jacket.

The St. Vrain currently is flowing dangerously fast because of all of the rain and melting snow.
