NTSB Investigates Helicopter's 'Hard Landing'
FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Federal investigators are looking at a hard landing of a helicopter tour company that happened over the weekend.
A helicopter from the Royal Gorge Heli-Tours went down in Fremont County on Saturday.
The company says their pilot tried to land in a field but came down at an extreme angle.
That caused the rotor to slice off the back end of the helicopter.
The company said there was a tour group on board at the time and that no one was hurt.
The NTSB is investigating.
