Firefighters Save Ducklings As Anxious Mom Waits

WASHINGTON (CBS4) - Firefighters in Washington, D.C., helped save several ducklings from a storm drain on Monday.

The D.C. Fire and EMS Department tweeted their response saying "Ducklings fell into storm drain. Momma duck standing by."

An emergency responder snaked a pole through the drain grate to retrieve each duckling.

After what may have seemed like an eternity for everyone, firefighters rescued all eight ducklings and reunited them with their mother.
