Jewell Wetlands To Close Temporarily

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora Parks, Recreation, and Open Space announced Friday that trails at Jewell Wetlands will close for a few weeks this spring.

The closure is due to increased recent coyote activity. It will only last a short time, though a reopening date has not been announced.

The department says the effort is aimed at reducing interactions between humans and wildlife and protecting visitors.
