Lawyer Pleads Guilty To Trying To Kill Wife

EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS4) — A Clear Creek County man has pleaded guilty to trying to kill his wife.

Leland Thomas Kintzele pleaded guilty to stabbing his wife with a kitchen knife and a hatchet multiple times before stabbing himself in their home in Evergreen in May 2015.

Kintzele was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday.

Both survived.
