Teen With Explosives That Forced Evacuations Learns Sentence
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - A 16-year-old pleaded guilty on Monday to having a gun and explosives in a home that forced the neighborhood to be evacuated last Halloween.
The teenager lived in the Castle Rock home. He was sentenced to two years in the Department of Youth Corrections.
Police first arrested him and another teen for a separate case and later found the explosive material when talking to the suspect's parents.
The second teen is due in court later this week.
