Man Charged With Shooting At Police While Wearing Body Armor
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - The 44-year-old man accused of shooting at police officers while wearing body armor now officially faces charges.
Authorities found Isaac Lesperance-Torres outside a store in Commerce City on Feb. 21.
The suspect had two felony warrants, and police tried to arrest him.
Police say Lesperance-Torres then took off, leading police on a wild chase into Denver.
They say he shot at them and they fired back, hitting and injuring him.
He's expected in court on Thursday.
