'Day Without Immigrants' Closes Restaurants In Colorado
DENVER (CBS4)- Several restaurants across Colorado and in Denver were closed on Thursday as part of the nationwide movement "Day Without Immigrants."
The grassroots campaign encouraged immigrants across the country to skip work and school in protest of President Donald Trump's immigration policies.
At least three restaurants in Denver joined the movement, including Russell's Smokehouse on Larimer Street, Maria Empanada and Adelitas on South Broadway.
