Boulder To Remove 120+ Ash Trees
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The City of Boulder plans to remove 121 ash trees that were affected by the Emerald Ash Borer.
The destructive beetle arrived in Boulder in 2013.
The City of Boulder wants to remove the trees because they could weaken and fall over as they deteriorate.
Boulder has planted more than 400 new other species of trees since 2014 to replace the ones infected by the beetle. The city plans to start removing the trees in March.
