Fatal Stabbing Investigation Launched Christmas Morning
DENVER (CBS4) - One person is dead and two people are hurt following a stabbing incident in Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
The incident happened early Sunday near the intersection of East 14th Avenue and Pearl Street. That's about three blocks east of the Colorado State Capitol.
Denver police say a woman had been waiting for a friend when a man attacked her. She died there.
The man then attacked the victim's friend before turning the knife on himself.
The suspect was described as being in critical condition at the hospital.
Names of the people involved so far haven't been released.
