STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Political protests took a backseat for another important issue on Saturday — snow, or the lack thereof.

People were spotted in Steamboat Springs wondering where the winter weather is. Their signs were a play on popular political catchphrases like “Hashtag Make Colorado Snow Again” and “Powder to The People.”

They got their wish in some parts of the high country. CBS4 viewer Laurie Talbott sent in video of the flakes falling in Winter Park.
