Copter4 flew over the students in Boulder that had gathered in a field near the school. It appeared to be a peaceful gathering.

At Noel Community Arts School in the Montbello area of Denver many students arrived Wednesday morning shocked and emotionally distraught over the presidential election results. Sixty percent of the school is Hispanic. Some students told CBS4 they are fearful that they or their family members might be deported. An assembly was held where the students were able to express their feelings.

Some students carried signs as they walked in the hallways. Others had tears in their eyes and were comforted by classmates. But Isabel Ontiveros, field director of the Libre Initiative, a nonpartisan organization that focuses on values for conservative ideas says she they should have hope.

"Under the Obama administration we have seen mass deportations, the highest we have seen than any other administration." Ontiveros said.

Ontiveros said Hispanic families are resilient.
