The Last Time The Broncos And Raiders Were 6-2?

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Broncos and the Raiders are both having playoff-worthy seasons.

But when was the last time they were both so good?

We have to flip the record books all the way back to 1998, when John Elway was under center and John Gruden the coach of the Oakland Raiders, to find when both teams were 6-2 together.

And as any Broncos fan recalls, that's the same season the Broncos won their second in back-to-back Super Bowls, with a victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

How'd the Raiders finish the year? Not nearly quite as well.

With an 8-8 record, tied in the division with the Seattle Seahawks, they missed the playoffs.
