2 Taken To Hospital In Crash, Including Apparent Shooting Victim
DENVER (CBS4) - Six people were injured in a crash in Denver involving two vehicles overnight. One of those people was someone who had apparently been shot shortly beforehand.
Police say an SUV carrying five people ran a red light at Kalamath Avenue and 11th Avenue and hit a car, causing the SUV to roll over. Those five people and also the driver of the car were taken to the hospital.
Police closed off the intersection for several hours as they investigated what happened. The SUV apparently was headed to the hospital because a person in the vehicle had been hurt in a shooting, which possibly took place in LoDo.
Two of the people injured suffered injuries that were described as serious.
