Anderson Refutes Report He's Done For Season

DENVER (CBS4) - C.J. Anderson appears to be upset by a report from NFL.com that states the Broncos running back is going to be unable to play for the rest of the season due to his knee injury.

First Ian Rapoport tweeted: "RB CJ Anderson has told people close to him that he's done for the year, I am told. Awful."

Then Anderson posted several Tweets in which he objected to what Rapoport wrote.

Very soon after that all of those were deleted, and Anderson acknowledged in another tweet that he had taken that action. "Tweets are deleted I will stay off social can't let ppl get to me" he wrote.

Anderson was not at Broncos practice on Wednesday. Broncos Coach Gary Kubiak said he was seeking a second medical opinion following a injury he sustained to his knee during Monday's game in Denver.

More information about Anderson and his injury is expected to be available later in the day Thursday.
