ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – C.J. Anderson injured his knee on Monday night and despite the fact that he returned to action, he is now expected to miss several games or possibly longer, according to a report.
Chris Wesseling of NFL.com writes that a bone in the Broncos running back’s knee is bruised and he is seeking a second opinion on how to treat it.
Gary Kubiak told reporters on Wednesday that Anderson missed practice and is out of town getting that medical opinion.
Whether it will mean a multi-week absence for Anderson or not is unclear so far.
