WALDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – A juvenile is being charged with starting a wildfire that burned 38,000 acres near Walden over the summer.

The Beaver Creek Fire broke out on June 19 near the Colorado-Wyoming border and the battle to contain it took months.

One residence was destroyed.

Could just as easily have been started by lightning – with same result.
If by accident, did the juvenile try to put it out and report it?
