DENVER (CBS4)– Police in Denver issued an arrest warrant for a murder suspect wanted in the deadly shooting of a pregnant woman whose body was found inside a motel room on Colfax Avenue.
Quinasia Russell, 23, was found shot to death inside a room at the Airway Motel early Saturday morning. Those close to Russell knew her as “Nay-Nay.”

Just before 3 a.m. Saturday police rushed to the motel after witnesses heard gunshots.
Police identified Brent Kelley as the gunman but continue to investigate a motive for the shooting.

“I don’t know who shot her or why,” said Russell’s Aunt Mae.

Mae said Russell was well-loved and outgoing, and also said her family believes that she had a child on the way.
“I’m devastated right now,” Mae added.
