ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Arvada have released the identity of a suspected peeping Tom caught on surveillance spying on a teenage girl.

Officers were called to a home in the 17000 block of W. 87th Avenue on Aug. 7. A man reported that he had video of a stranger looking into the bedroom window of his 17-year-old daughter.

Officers said that they were able to identify and arrest a suspect after the surveillance video was released.

Police arrested Garrett Brown, 36, on Saturday. He’s accused of criminal attempt first-degree criminal trespass of a dwelling and criminal attempt invasion of privacy.

It’s not clear if Brown knows the homeowner or if it was a random crime.
