Investigation On After Officer-Involved Shooting
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder County sheriff deputies are investigating an officer-involved shooting south of Longmont.
The sheriff's department says the deputy wasn't injured.
No other details are known about the suspect or circumstances that led to the shooting.
U.S. Highway 287 was closed from Oxford Road to Niwot Road and the public was advised to avoid the area. Highway 287 is the main route between Longmont and Lafayette. Interstate 25 is the best detour.
