Jordan 'Sunshine' Taylor A True Bright Spot In Final Preseason Game

PHOENIX (CBS4) - It sure seems like Broncos wide receiver Jordan Taylor earned a spot on the final roster after his monster game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Taylor, whose nickname is "Sunshine," hauled in four catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns from rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch, who played pretty well too.

Lynch went 13-22 for 214 and two touchdowns. He did throw a pick-6 late in the game as the Broncos were trying to comeback from a 14-point deficit with just over 5 minutes left.

"He did a lot of good things, he's a great player," head coach Gary Kubiak said after the game.

The duo's first touchdown came on the first drive of the game.

The other came at the end of the third quarter.

The Broncos lost the meaningless game 38-17.

Another storyline of the game was the performance of backup running backs Ronnie Hillman and Kapri Bibbs, as the team will probably keep only one of them.

Bibbs saw the most action, rushing for 51 yards on 10 carries. Hillman only had three rushes for nine yards. It's not clear why Hillman didn't get more carries.
