Wrong-Way Driver Killed In 5-Vehicle Crash
PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - One man was killed and six others hurt after a crash involving a motorcycle and five cars.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday at Parker Road and Jay Morgan Boulevard, and the wreck spread debris across the road.
Police said the red Toyota Tacoma was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes for "quite some time" when it clipped one vehicle. Two people on a motorcycle saw what was happening and laid down the motorcycle.
The two people on the motorcycle suffered minor injuries.
The Tacoma then went airborne over the motorcycle riders and collided with another vehicle. The truck then burst into flames. The driver of the Tacoma was killed.
South Metro Fire Rescue said some of the victims were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated after the crash.
The driver of the Tacoma has not been identified.
