DENVER (CBS4) – Teams hit the tarmac Saturday at Denver International Airport for the fourth annual Plane Pull fundraiser.

The event benefits Special Olympics Colorado.

Competitors raced to be the fastest to pull a plane 12 feet. The aircraft weighs 164,000 pounds.

Money raised in entry fees helps Special Olympians train year-round in Colorado, which has more than 20,000 competitors in 22 different sports.
