Craig Hospital Patients Enjoy A Day On The Water
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Patients receiving treatment at Craig Hospital enjoyed a day on the water on Friday.
Nearly 100 patients along with nurses and volunteers gathered at Cherry Creek Reservoir on Friday morning for the annual Hobie Day.
Patients and their families enjoyed music, BBQ, sailing and powerboat rides.
"It's a great opportunity to get patients out of the hospital with family members, working with some of the goals that they're doing in our rehab but more importantly have a little fun," said Director of Therapeutic Recreation Tom Carr.
This was the 37th year for the event.
