LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - Hannah Golden is a recent high school graduate who likes architecture and building. She plans to study engineering next year in college, but she's already built a house.

"I really like it, not even like it, I love it. It's the coolest thing I've ever done," Golden said.

The tiny house is just 90 square feet with an upstairs loft for sleeping, a little living room, and a dining area.

"My passion is building things -- my talent is designing things."

Before leaving for college she wants to donate her small house to Habitat for Humanity Denver. That way, it can be sold and raise money for the group's ongoing project of building homes for low income families.

Amy Vanderkamp with Habitat for Humanity says the small abode could bring in big dollars.

"What do you think it will sell for?" CBS4's Suzanne McCarroll asked.

"My hope is thousands of dollars," she replied.

The house will be auctioned off this month. To place a bid, consumers can go to habitatdenverrestore.org. Tour the house at 7890 West Quincy in Littleton.

Golden can go off to college knowing she's done something to help struggling families in her community.
