Former Denver Mayor Webb Scolds Delegates Who Boo-ed Sanders

DENVER (CBS4)- The Colorado delegation gathered for breakfast in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday morning to discuss the roll call.

State Rep. Joe Salazar told the delegates to vote for Bernie Sanders but to then support Hillary Clinton because that's what Sanders asked of them.

Salazar, a Democrat representing Thornton, told Clinton supporters they could learn about enthusiasm from the Sanders supporters.

Former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb, a Clinton supporter, scolded delegates who booed Sanders on Monday night.

"I stood for Bernie Sanders yesterday and gave him the respect I think he's due. I hope you would stand for Hillary and give her the respect she is due because the bigger issue is not, in this case if you believe on the issues, the issues are, are you going to accept Democratic issues or Donald Trump issues," said Webb.
