Friends and family welcomed riders home at the Lawrence Street shelter.

"There are some hard times on a bike, but it's nothing like what these folks go through. So we get done with a day and be able to check into a hotel and get a chance to rest up, and that's what the Denver Rescue Mission is -- it's a refuge for the homeless, for those that are hungry, the hurting," said Dave Schunk, Denver Rescue Mission CFO.
