Authorities Search for Parole Escapee Who Cut Off GPS Monitor

DENVER (CBS4)- Authorities across Colorado searched for a parole escapee who cut off his GPS monitor and may have weapons in his possession.

Authorities say Ricky Reasoner has a nationwide warrant for his arrest for escape from parole. Reasoner has an extensive criminal history that includes possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Reasoner, 33, is a suspected Aryan Syndicate gang member with ties to the Denver metro area.

Reasoner cut off his ankle monitor on or before June 7.

Authorities believe Reasoner may be in possession of a .45 caliber handgun and may be driving a tan in color, late model Cadillac four-door with Wyoming temporary tags. The vehicle may have a placard where the front license typically sits which reads "Mark's Motors Cheyenne."

Authorities believe Reasoner may be located in the Denver metro area or Fort Collins area.

He has a history of arrests that include burglary to assaulting a police officer.
