Nuggets, Darrell Arthur Agree To 3-Year Deal

DENVER (The Sports Xchange) - The Denver Nuggets secured their top target in free agency when on Friday they agreed to terms with their own free agent, forward Darrell Arthur.

The deal is for three years and worth $23 million, according to reports.

The Washington Wizards made a run at the 28-year-old veteran from Kansas. But he has spent the past three seasons in Denver and has become an influential voice in the Nuggets' locker room.

He started 16 games last season and played in a total of 70 games for the Nuggets. He averaged 7.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on 45.2 percent shooting from the floor.
