$200,000 Bond Set For Woman Accused In DUI Crash That Killed Bicyclist
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman accused of driving drunk and killing a bicyclist in Boulder appeared in court on Monday.
Callie Kuhasz has a history of drunk driving arrests and on Monday a judge set her bond at $200,000. She's accused of killing William Davis in a hit-and-run on Saturday.
Friends of the father and husband were in court for Kuhasz's appearance.
"He was the man we all aspired to be. He was an amazing father and gave me the best advice there could be -- a great coworker and talented cyclist," friend Adam Hecht said.
Investigators say they found several empty beer cans in the suspect's car. They also say Kuhasz was combative and had to be restrained so officers could draw blood to test her alcohol level.
