Crews Locate Body Of Missing Rafter In Dinosaur National Monument

DINOSAUR, Colo. (AP/CBS4) - The body of a woman missing after a commercial raft flipped near the Utah border has been located.

The woman, identified as Sandra Wolder, 62, of Aurora, was last seen Friday around 5 p.m. at Disaster Falls in Dinosaur National Monument. Park official Dan Johnson said Wolder was the only rafter who did not make it to shore.

Johnson said the raft was pinned to a rock by the force of water flowing through the Green River.

"Search and rescue team members located a body matching the description of the missing rafter that was trapped underwater in the roots of a large downed tree in the river," Johnson said in a statement.
