The head of the Tibetans will lead two teaching sessions at the Coors Event Center at 9:30 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m.

His visit is expected to cause heavy traffic and parking problems around the CU campus.

Tickets for the event are sold out.

Additional Information From The CU Boulder Police Department

Access to Regent Drive between Broadway and Colorado will be limited to those people who have either a prepaid Dalai Lama parking permit or a valid CU Parking Permit. Even with a valid parking permit, no one will be allowed to stop on Regent Drive to drop off or pick up riders.

If you are coming to campus via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, we highly recommend finding a safe spot to be dropped off on the west side of Campus.

If you are coming to the event and do not have a prepaid Dalai Lama parking permit or a valid CU Parking Permit, we highly recommend that you use RTD's bus service, ride a bike or walk to get to campus.
