Spy Satellite In Orbit Thanks To Colorado's United Launch Alliance
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (CBS4) - A government spy satellite has been launched into orbit thanks to a rocket partly built in Colorado.
The rocket took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
United Launch Alliance's Delta Four rocket is the most powerful rocket used in the United States. It weighs more than 1.5 million pounds.
It was only the ninth time the rocket has launched. The liftoff happened two days after bad weather forced crews to postpone.
United Launch Alliance is based in Centennial.
