BLACK HAWK, Colo. (CBS4) – Bear cubs made their way inside an unlocked SUV in Black Hawk last week, and did some serious damage.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife posted photos of the torn up vehicle. The cubs ended up getting locked inside while their mother was outside. A deputy broke one of the car’s windows to let the cubs out.

CPW posted the photos as a reminder to help keep bears wild by bear proofing, which starts with locking the car doors.
