The shooting happened around 5 p.m. outside Kindall’s home on the 4400 block of Bridle Drive.

Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer David Moore said nobody was hurt in the shooting. Moore said the driver who followed Kindall did not pose a threat.

“He was parked a good distance away from his (Kindall’s) home and was just trying to get the license plate,” Moore said.

Kindall was arrested on suspicion of felony menacing and reckless endangerment. He was booked into the Larimer County jail. On Wednesday a judge granted Kindall $5,000 bond. He is due back in court on the matter on June 2 at 8:30 a.m. Attorneys said Kindall has no criminal history.

Family of Kindall said he feared for his life before the shooting and declined to comment further.
