Sportscastle Could Become Residential-Retail Mix
DENVER (CBS4)- The future of the iconic Sportscastle at 10th and Broadway is up in the air with the auction of Sports Authority, the sporting goods retailer that claimed bankruptcy earlier this year.
Gart Properties still owns the building and nearby properties.
The president told CBS4 his company is looking into re-purposing the building into residential and retail space or a hotel.
There is no official date issued for when Sports Authority in that location will close.
A group of liquidators won an auction on Tuesday to buy the company's inventory.
