Nobody Injured After Train Derails Near Timnath

TIMNATH, Colo. (CBS4) - A train carrying sand derailed near Timnath Sunday morning.

According to Poudre Fire Authority, nobody was injured when the train derailed sometime before noon. Nine cars were affected.

All members of the train crew were accounted for and there was no reported hazmat threat.

The train derailed in a field next to a new housing subdivision that's under construction. No damage was reported in the subdivision and there were no road closures.
