GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - An employee of an elementary school in Falcon has been arrested for allegedly sending naked photos to a person he believed to be a young girl.

"An investigator with the DA's Child Sex Offender Internet Investigations (CHEEZO) unit was contacted in a social networking site by Dylan Kern. The DA investigator was online portraying himself as a female child under the age of 15," Pam Russell with the district attorney's office said in a statement. "According to the arrest affidavit, Mr. Kern sent a photo of his naked genitalia to the person he believed to be an underage teen. He also asked the teen to send him 'naughty' pictures of her genitalia."

Russell said that Kern told the teen "he could go into the custodial closet at the elementary school, where he worked, and take another picture," according to the arrest affidavit.

After the interaction investigators traveled to Falcon and arrested Kern, who works as a janitor for Woodmen Hills Elementary School in Falcon, located in unincorporated El Paso County.

Kern is currently being held in the Jefferson County Detention Facility in Golden.
