DENVER (CBS4)– Three people were arrested after a short chase through the Park Hill Neighborhood in Denver on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers tried to pull over a stolen car about 12:30 p.m. when the driver sped away. Officers tried to stop the vehicle but the driver crashed into a tree.

The three people inside the vehicle got out and ran away. Streets were closed while officers searched for the suspects.

Officers caught up to the suspects a short time later at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Newport.

One of the suspects was examined by Denver Paramedics and released. None of the suspects have been identified.
