Shooting Task Force To Release New Information

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - The Northern Colorado shooting task force is planning to release new information in the case Tuesday.

The unit was assigned to this case when seemingly random shootings began a year ago. Four people were shot between April 22 and June 5, 2015 around the roads of Northern Colorado. One escaped without injury, one was shot in the neck but survived, and two were killed.

One of the biggest leads is a 1970s orange pickup truck, which the task force shared with the public last year. The FBI put out a reward of $50,000 for suspect information.

The task force did say no arrests have been made but there are new developments to share. It has no intention of abandoning the case.

The media briefing is scheduled to begin in Loveland at noon.
