Man Arrested After Crashing Into DPD Vehicle
DENVER (CBS4) - One man was arrested Monday morning after a crash involving a Denver police vehicle.
It happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. at West Florida Avenue and South Irving Street. The driver, identified as Austin Icke, is suspected of driving under the influence after officers say he slammed into a Denver police cruiser and then fled from the scene.
Officers caught up with him shortly after the and Icke was arrested. He remains in custody on DUI, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to stop at a red light and no insurance.
No one was seriously injured in the crash.
